New band!
I am currently in the process of looking to put together a new band as we move into 2009.
It's been far too long since I felt the sharp pleasure/fear of working a stage
and I'm keen to get back up there!

Vocals
Male or female, but either way needing good range and power - think along the lines of Machinehead or Arch Enemy. You're going to be the front line of the band so energy, enthusiasm and image are important.
Bass
The second half of the core rhythm assault. A good solid sense of timing is definitely going to be required.
Keyboards
From ethereal soundscapes to bleeping madness, we're looking to encompass it all. You'll be providing both solid backing as well as melody as the song demands so don't think you'll just be shoved to the back of the stage.
Drums
As some would say, the core of the band. Responsible for keeping the others in check as well as providing some thumping rhythm and rapid fills. Double-pedal would be desirable or you're probably going to have a very tired foot!
For this project I'm looking at influences ranging through: Machinehead, Metallica,
Slipknot, Type O Negative and Nightwish.
